Black Poplar bowl Go to product page

Beautiful Black Poplar burr bowl. The wood was sourced locally and made in my workshop in Caernarfon, North Wales

It is a very unusual and uncommon timber and I was very fortunate to obtain a few pieces,and if memory serves me 

correct this is the last piece I have.

The bowl measures just over 12.5 inches across and 2.5 inches deep.It has been treated with 2 coats of Danish oil

and further coats from time to time is all that is required to keep the bowl in pristine condition.
